I've seen the future and it works!

Detroit's glorious struggle to create a socialist paradise within the public sector has finally had to face reality and file for bankruptcy.

It remains to be seen how much time the United States itself has left. The Fed pumping unprecedented amounts of money into the economy can only fool the markets and the world with it's dangerous economic bubbles and unintended consequences for so long before it too comes crashing down into rubble and ruined lives.

But, Obama has seen the future. And it works for him.

One witness to the destruction of a once great city said: "Socialism isn't the opposite of capitalism. "Capitalism" is just a crude Marxist cartoonish demonization of free society. Socialism is the opposite of civilization itself. And so goes Detroit."

One thing is certain, it did not have to be. Twas the beast that killed beauty.

I understand that what's left of Detroit will be bulldozed, trucked to the land fill, and the empty land returned to agricultural purposes. If there was a game, Sim City for Socialists, would this end result mean you won the game with the highest score possible?

By having a "no closed door" policy, they will save a lot of money on doors in city hall.

Obama said women would clutch their purses tighter when around him. They probably clutch more than that in San Diego.

Don't forget Michigan's right-to-work law which only took effect in March 2013 must also share major blame for Detroit's long term decline.
