Better known as “Earth Hour” 28th March 8:30 PM local time

What better way to show your commitment [besides committing yourself] and to show those rethuggicans that they cannot destroy the planet with their “Freedom” and “Liberty”.

So when the appointed (1/2) Hour arrives it will be your duty to live for an hour just like the Communists in the stupendous worker's paradise of North Korea!

Their commitment to Communism is such that they have ‘earth hour' EVERY NIGHT!

Talk about commitment!

Imagine how we could all Progress to the wonderful life of darkness the North Koreans enjoy?

Image I for one……
(IF I remember, it's hard to keep track of all these silly holidays and machinations from the Nation's socialist-left)
…..Will make sure to turn every light on as possible – including plugging in a few extra lights that I don't normally use.

Does it count if you also run some appliances and power tools and dare to watch Newsmax TV or The Flipside and other reactionary television?

Actually, we've been celebrating this glorious event since 2008, but it's always good to pour new fermented beet juice into the old barrel.

Yes, of course.

I just wanted to remind everyone of the approach of the appointed 1/2 hour so they would have time to replace any burned out bulbs or CFL's [Hazardous cleanup crews are difficult to schedule] and purchase some extra lamps for the occasion.

Is a good time for the underprivileged to take anything they want expropriate needed essentials from the hostels of their nearby progs. Why? Because it'll be too dark for the progs to see they are being robbed contributing to redistribution, and the dark hostels mean those living there have no weapons, because they are compliant progs.

Light pollution is bad for the environment. We will need a protest against light pollution.

Dining in the Dark – Your favorite Restaurant or Pub will seat you in a literally pitch-black dining area where you will be guided and served by blind or visually impaired individuals that have been specially trained to serve meals in the dark, casually and comfortably offering guidance and reassurance for sighted guests. Special security measures are taken to make your experience both safe and enjoyable. Cash only. $$$

Funny but in the dark my $110 Kiawe wood seared Wagyu Kobe rib-eye and La Bonnotte black truffle mashed potatoes tasted like Salisbury and turnips.

Bah! North Korea always wins the Earth Hour non-contest.

Hey commies, you don't have to observe Earth Hour by going without electricity. Just put a sign up in your window with a snappy empty slogan; like "Planet Earth Cocktail Hour Safe Space" or "Workers of the world relax and take your shoes off and have a Earth Hour cocktail!" or The planet Earth celebrates Earth cocktail hour every hour!" or "Save electricity and shower with a friend and some Earth Hour cocktails!"

Snappy empty slogans can change the world.
