Reparations for racist slavery is a great idea! But why single out the United States since racist slavery didn't start nor end there? In the Western hemisphere racist slavery began with the Spanish and the Portuguese, followed by the French and the English. As a result, the entire Central and South America are even more liable to pay the reparations.

The problem is, of course, in determining the racial and ethnic composition of every single applicant, since not many pure-blooded African-Americans remain in existence. And even then a special commission will need to be formed in order to filter out those whose non-Caucasian ancestors came to America either voluntarily, after the end of slavery, or even in recent decades (e.g., Barack Obama).

There will be, of course, many opportunities for fraud and corruption, which is why there will have to be a new well-funded government agency to process the paperwork and genetic material, plus a second well-funded government agency to watch over the first one to minimize bribes, kickbacks, and other corrupt activities.

Given that all of the applicants will only be distant descendants of slaves, it would make even more sense to go after countries where racist slavery lasted a lot longer or, in some paces, still exists - such as, most of the Arab and Muslim world, especially Sudan.

This plan, however, is fraught with dragging the entire planet into such a massive recounting and payout campaign that it will stall all other daily activities and eventually bankrupt the world economy. The UN doesn't want that. The only country that the United Nations really want to see bankrupt is the US.

In that case, of course, it makes total sense to single out the United States as the only country that owes reparations for racist slavery. After all, it remains the only powerful nation that still stands on the way of bringing forth the Progressive World of Next Tuesday. Go ahead, UN comrades! Death to Amerikkka!

This UN panel is closely associated with the climate panel that issued the correct ruling on climate change. It takes a lot of courage to remain on the leading edge of the correctness debate. My assumption is this ruling only applies to the United States, excluding Europe, the Middle East, Japan, China, and all other countries.

-people assaulting supporters of conservative parties... in the name of free speech and democracy... and the media going along with it......

Now, I'm all for the establishment of government agencies to process paperwork, because the government simply cannot exist without paperwork. Indeed, everyone should apply, whether they're eligible or not. As for that eligibility, all that's required is the same thing you find on all government forms: Are you African-American? You either check yes or no. Or you list all minority groups with instructions that the applicant should check all boxes that apply. Anyone who checks White or Caucasian shall have their application forwarded to the IRS, which in turn will require that particular applicant to pay their fair share toward reparations.

But to “determine” racial and ethnic composition of each and every applicant? Why, that's like asking for photo I.D. at the voting booth.

I am white by birth, but identify as a 189 year old ex slave named "Wagon Wheel Joe" What line do I go in and is there a "blacks only" gender neutral bathroom?

If one can be LEGALLY recognized as having certain physical characteristics based merely on self-identification, can't there be a LEGALLY recognized self-identified blackness of a Caucasian applying for reparations?

Also, if being black is so terrible in Amerikkka, why do we have so many white people self-identifying as blacks?
