For years, I've had this theory that the US is really a socialist nation in extreme denial.

Take a look at the average supermarket - they have experienced more and more shortages, and once you dig into the companies and addresses on the boxes, you find that all the stuff is made by only a handful of firms that all recieve hefty government subsidies - another name for your redistributed tax dollars. Look at the clothing - all of it is the same, has been for at least a decade, and it's very cheaply made in drab colors. Look at the laws - every week they write more to kill more of your liberty and create more and more bureaus and committees. All under the guise of temporary safety and moral outrage, just as Alinsky instructed.

It all points to a gentle, imperceptible approach to socialism and communism, like a frog in a pot of water. Just like Soviet officials said would happen, socialism came to the US gradually, slowly, riding under the American flag. We have been looking for a violent, sudden revolution under the hammer-and-sickle, and of course, have not seen such a thing. That was not their plan the 2nd time around. Of course, there are communist organizations here in the US, but they've been used in this country as a sleight-of-hand to distract patriots from the real revolution that's been going on for 50+ years. For years, us patriots have been saying that this is a democratic republic when we should have been saying that this is a people's republic.

Now that the big shortages have happened with this coronavirus circus, I believe that my theory is confirmed, and that the switch has finally been thrown to officially transition into socialism. What we're seeing now has never been seen, not even during WWII when we fed the whole civilized world on top of ourselves.

America has always prided itself on being able to always feed not only its' people, but the world beyond. Shortages like we're seeing now would never have happened if we didn't become conditioned to socialist conditions, policies, culture, and economy. Take a look at this classic footage oft-posted as a warning at what happens under socialism and tell me this does not look like your local grocery:



Let me tell you something. One of the things about my grandmother that will stick with me forever is a story she told me once. She was born in the 30's or 40's, and when she was a kid, she remembered seeing a man with a smart herringbone-pattern jacket and thick-rimmed glasses on the black-and-white TV. She didn't remember who the man or what the name of the program was, but she did remember one thing. This man said that "The United States will be the last communist nation". Think about that.
