The Left is NOT against slavery. Change my mind.

Why is slavery wrong? Because we all have the right to our own life - and not as simply a claim to our body as a biological machine but to our lives as beings made in and of time to govern, shape, and defend. The Left derides that idea as "individualism" and individualism is the root cause of all "social injustice."

They offer us their elite and aristocratic services of ruling over us as their subjects - their slaves - for our own good. Because freedom is dangerous and a society based on human freedom causes "social injustice."

This video is illustrative for a couple of reasons, one of them being what the person at the end of the video states. He tries to argue that Muhammad had slaves as part of his religion. He had to be explicitly told that slavery is not part of religious freedom. The principle of human freedom was not discussed.

The confederacy's defense of the institution of slavery was grounded in religious freedom too, and on the slave's need to be ruled over for his own good. They claimed, "Slavery is a positive good." A "positive good" because supposedly in freedom the former slave would not know how to be civilized and would be a danger to himself and society.

This is the exact defense of communist slavery and the rule over whole nations as slave states.

The Left argues we cannot be free because our freedom is a danger to ourselves and to society and causes "social injustice." So we must be ruled by our betters for our own good and safety.

Why is slavery wrong? The Left would enslave us all under their communist rule and do it in defense of fighting against slavery.

The Left is not against slavery. They are pro-slavery.

Change my mind.

I have long maintained that the Left's slogan "Liberty, Equality, Justice" is an oxymoron.

In a society as a whole, these concepts are mutually exclusive, for as long as people are free to live as they want, they will be unequal. Making them all equal will both restrict their liberty and will be unjust.

The problem here is that by "equality" the Left always means not "equality before the law," but "economic equality and justice" - in other words, forced redistribution of wealth. Unfortunately, many Republicans and other supposedly "right-leaning" people have accepted the Left's false premise that "economic inequality" is unjust and needs to be opposed.

It has been proven by many Left's attempts to create "economic equality" that it only leads to grave injustice and loss of liberty, with the equally poor masses being ruled over as slaves by the elite class of unelected "masters."

"Economic inequality" may be disappointing to some at the bottom, but even they would often agree that any such disappointment is a small price to pay for living in a healthy, dynamic and advanced free society, where they and their children still have a chance to improve their lives.

These so called liberals and blm people has focused creating new inequalities for the sake of 'fighting racism'. I read Invisible Man and already know that racism is not subjected to one race.

I used to hope that too. But I am becoming pessimistic about this. I think many jealous types would rather live among the ruins of society than allow their neighbours to become succesful.

Ah well, Western civilization was cool while it lasted, wasn't it? And who needs liberty when Amazon can deliver stuff to your door and you don't even have to be able to count to get a real Kollege Dekree.

Most of these people who protest are not even from the area. They trash the community and get back to their community. Since Burning Man is not going on, they burn communities.

Economic equality.

It's a fool's errand to fight battles on the terrain of the enemy's choosing. It leads to our present state of affairs.

Are we to be free to govern our own lives so long as we don't infringe on the right of others to govern their own lives? The Statists say no. The Statists say freedom is dangerous. They will tell what us what is right and wrong. They say the American experiment in self-governance is a failure and we must be ruled over by our betters for our own good.

The battle is: Are we to be ruled over as subjects or are we to have possession of our own lives to govern, shape and defend?

Is their argument true or false? That question is the intellectual battlefied the Statists do everything they can to avoid fighting on.

There is nothing new under the sun. This war between those who think they have a right to ride booted and spurred all humanity against those who declare their right to their own lives is as old as Man.

Reflections on Southern Slavery and Leftist Slavery
The statue of the world's greatest slave owner stands in Seattle.
by Daniel Greenfield

The 1619 Project of the New York Times falsely claimed that America was built on slave labor, but before that revisionist history project, the paper had run a Red Century project defending Communism when Soviet Socialism was, from Moscow University to the White Sea-Baltic Canal, built on slave labor.

This "Daniel Evilfield" is truely a Kapitalist KKKulak. We all now the White Sea-Baltic Canal was built by enthusiastic volunteers who went to their work smiling! There were some guards with guns, it is true, but this was just to keep out the thousands of sad volunteers who didn't get a place in the work gangs!

Absolutely! Just ask comrade Googoebbels to show you the reports of top Soviet writers who visited Belomorkanal!

Exactly! Like in our Umiat, AK facility: just "noise-rattles, keeping polar bears at bay".

And @Komrade KMTC, re "The Left is NOT against slavery":

Of course Lefty is NOT against slavery. Because, where Lefty is, there is NO slavery, da? So, Lefty CAN'T be "AGAINST slavery" - hah, "AGAINST" sumptin that simply ISN'T there???

And we have a documented proof of that!

Prog Off:

I had a recent Argument with a Black Neighbor about Black Lives Matter and it came down to his FEELINGS about how his people should receive Economic Equality because He Is NOT Equal. I let him know that White Supremacists believe the same thing.

The "Conversation On Race" Ended.

I do not agree with racists of any color!

Prog On:
But what is more important is THIS:

Shirley Temple and Bo Jangles were both loyal Confederates in The Littlest Rebel. I guess they must be purged now.
