Your suggestion is wise, of course. But successful "scrubbing" is far easier said than done. Fortunately for our side, YouTube/Google terminated the account displaying excerpts from my speech asserting that Bush 43 "betrayed our country" (as shown below, thanks be to the Progressiveness of YouTube/Google):
But, when I invented the internet, I forgot to include a "back door" to enable me to surreptitiously delete material preserved for posterity by right-wingers and tea-partiers whenever we progressively deem it wise to "scrub" such material from the internet in locations beyond the "scrubbing" power of our loyal supporters at YouTube/Google.
Thus, it seems we are unable to "scrub" from the internet my reasoned, dispassionate and objective criticism of Bush 43 which one of our enemies has preserved on the internet in a manner designed to enable them to display Progressive criticisms out of context in order to speciously describe such criticism as an example of "hate-speech" .
How can we hope to solve this problem? We need to give Obama and the FCC the power to selectively shut-down websites-- oh, I forgot-- we've already done that. I guess we just need to be patient for a little while longer for Attorney General Holder to shut down that site. So many sites to shut down, and so little time to do it.
Rule #1: It is impossible to threaten bodily harm on or insult non-persons. Thus no need for scrubbing.

This whole episode with the media and leftists in Reichstag like hysteria proves to me that they have zero respect for opposing views on pretty much everything. I know, I know... this has been clear for a long time but the unabashed grandstanding and one way finger pointing on a tragedy that has no substantive link to politics brings this sad and dangerous trend into focus.
It is ironic that their reaction to this proves their point, that politics in the USA has become a win at all costs bloodsport where truth is the biggest casualty.
Yes, it's futile to try and remove the evidence since many Rightwingers have saved the evidence on their own machines.
I think it would be better to denounce this evidence as fabrications, comments taken out of context and the ramblings of people who are Tea Party stooges planted to make the Left look bad.
