No Progressive Child Left Behind

In a bold “no child left behind” move today, President Obama has suspended all student testing. “This is not a competition,” said the President. “We are concerned about the more important issues, sharing, loyalty, environmental awareness.” The President reiterated that none of the concerns important to the state are being tested. Children who are superior in following the state's wishes are being branded as failures and this is making us look bad as an administration. The testing must be stopped.

John Kerry applauded the move. “If we insist on this insane ambition of being educationally superior to other nations, we will not be liked by other countries. That must not be tolerated,” said Kerry. Kerry has long sought to have America accepted by other nations by achieving equality in all things. Equality will never be achieved if America insists on being superior to others.

Al Sharpton showered praise on the move. “For too long minorities have been oppressed by this foolish educational competition and unfair testing procedures. We are free at last from the honkey educational system,” praised Sharpton. A recognized leader of the black community, Sharpton has long fought to equalize opportunities for minorities by pressing down on the top to bring it closer to the bottom.

Wide administration support was expressed for the testing clamp down. "It was making my people look bad," said Eric Holder. "Finally we are headed in the right direction."

Progressivism in education, like economics, has as its ultimate goal the elevation of society in its entirety. But in the mid term lifting from the bottom is impossible. The only solution is to bring the top portion of society down until it reaches the very basic bottom levels. Only then can society be lifted as a whole, equally. We must all share in the sacrifices equally. Some must share more equally than others.

Competition is EVIL!!!! How will the little proles preschoolers ever learn if they are challenged or given any form of feedback that is different than that given other children?

Uniformity is the goal, achievement a meaningless measurement.
