Better living through central planning: new Dem platform

The workers and peasants of America abandon Trump, flock to the Democrats new and improved central planning of the economy: "A Better Deal: Better Jobs, Better Wages, Better Future”

Trump had ‘The Art of the Deal.' Now Democrats say their economic agenda is ‘A Better Deal.'

Completely sapped of power in Washington, top leaders of the Democratic Party now believe that the best way to fight a president who penned “The Art of the Deal” is with an economic agenda that they plan to call “A Better Deal.”

[There's a lot to be excited about] But Schumer especially is excited by the new focus, vowing that it's an expression “that everyone will use — a better deal for workers, a better deal for women, a better deal for prescription-drug buyers.”

That construction — similar to the pizza slogan — is what worries some liberal critics. But the Senate leader is convinced that it will work.

“Part of this is its usability, its repetition and its relation to both the New Deal and a better deal than Trump,” Schumer said. “He's supposed to be a dealmaker; he's not very good at that.”
If you want your life and your self-governance to be controlled by the whims of power politics and be forced to live by the trickle-down government choices forced on you by central planning then the democrats have a plan for you.

Surely this will put the Democrats over the top in 2018.

In days gone by we manipulated thought through controlled information. The people were happy as we drifted toward that glorious collective shore. But the internet created a stumbling block. Unfettered information has confused our happy people. We must fight back with FAKE NEWS. This is much the same as our previously controlled information but more direct and proving quite satisfactory.

We shall henceforth abolish the term FAKE NEWS as a NON-PHRASE. All State Sanctioned Information shall, from this point forward be know as BETTER NEWS. (GOOD NEWS is an acceptable variant.)

"Better this" and "better that" work along the same lines as "Next Tuesday."

Voter: "Finally I can say I have a good life."
Democrat: "Well, but we can give you a better life."
Voter: "How?"
Democrat: "We'll give you a better world."
Voter: "Better than what?"
Democrat: "Better than this world."
Voter: "When?"
Democrat: "Next Tuesday."
Voter: "This coming Tuesday?"
Democrat: "No, not this Tuesday. Next Tuesday."
Voter (about two weeks later): "Today is Tuesday."
Democrat: "Today is THIS Tuesday. By definition it can't be next Tuesday. You'll see a better world next Tuesday as promised. What, you don't believe me?"

And so on until the voter passes to a better world. Not necessarily on Tuesday. The Democrats can claim they have fulfilled their promise.

"Building better worlds."

If I remember right that lead directly to turning people into Reavers.

"Next Tuesday" coming to a Collective Community near you.

Papa John's slogan has to do with fresh ingredients made on site the same day. So after decades of nothing but the same old canned crap with an occasional change of label, the Democrats will be plying us with steaming hot, fresh bullshit every day till the midterms.

A good thing I wear heavy boots and carry a shovel.

The better platform just gets better. They have the better Democrats, a better plan, better beets, and better vodka. They are the better socialists and better environmentalists. Their laws are better and they are better caregivers. They know better than you and love better. They yell better and make better destruction. They start wars better and flog capitalists better. They censor better and create fear better. This is the better group of people you will meet.

To great fanfare the Democrats announced their new "Better living through central planning." central plan for better living today at the All-Democratic Central Planning Committee for Better Living committee meeting for planning future Party central committee planning meetings.

Sounds like they are the better option to vote for.

Comrades! We cannot allow counterrevolutionary talk from the purveyors of economic liberty such as Milton Friedman and his lecture on the Miraculous free-market and the example of the lowly pencil:

Milton Friedman: This is Why Free Markets are Miraculous

H/T PhilosophyInsights

For if it is that difficult to make even a pencil, how could it even be possible to centrally plan and run an entire economy?

The EU: Authoritarianism Through Complexity

July 24, 2017 -- The bloc has become an authoritarian regime insisting that it is the defender of liberal democracy...

... The EU's answer to this is that the Maastricht treaty, a long and complex document, can best be grasped by experts, particularly by those experts who make their living by being Maastricht treaty experts.

These experts and the complex political entities that manage them don't think they have done a bad job managing the European Union. In spite of the nearly decade long economic catastrophe in Southern Europe, they are content with their work. In their minds, the fault generally lies with Southern Europe, not the EU; the upheaval in Europe triggered by EU-imposed immigration rules had to do with racist citizens, not the EU's ineptness; and Brexit had to do with the inability of the British public to understand the benefits of the EU, not the fact that the benefits were unclear and the rules incomprehensible.

The institutionalized self-satisfaction of the EU apparatus creates a mindset in which the member publics must live up to the EU's expectations rather than the other way around.

There's a better living through central planning form you can fill out to suggest new central plans for better living for that.

It's all about the love.

What are we going to hear next, "If you like your deal, you can keep your deal"?

User avatar
At the DNC's Politburo™ meeting last night they were still bickering about whether continuing the yapping about the Russian collusion will bring about the impeachment of the Evil Trumphitler. They're idiots! I told them they were wasting time because President Combover will get himself impeached. I told them that they should hold a meeting to determine an agenda for another meeting that would set the stage for an outline of the next 5 Year Plan™ that will be presented at a meeting of the Central Committee™ (aka the Inner Circle™) who will schedule a meeting to set a date for a plenary session of DNC's Politburo™. And hopefully out of that will come date for when to execute the next 5 Year Plan™. That should take about 12 years. This is how progress is achieved!!!

Comrade, this is the 'New New Deal' just like FDR's but better.

To sum: The Democrats will campaign on the idea that the country is divided into two economic classes, the rich powerful plutocrats and the workers. The Republicans are on the side of the rich plutocratic class that is hoarding all the wealth. The working classes are getting poorer and poorer because of this. Donald Trump is just a cynical rich plutocrat who fooled the working classes with populist rhetoric in order to get elected. Now we see his true colors. He is just part of the working classes problems.

Marxism made simple. The Democrats can't see politics outside the limited scope of doctrinaire Marxism.

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) agreed, explaining in a separate interview that the new focus “is not a course correction, but it's a presentation correction.”

THAT'S IT!!!! I'VE HAD ENOUGH!!! I want that vapid snowflake PURGED from The Party™!!! And like NOW, damnit!!!

Keep talkin' Comrade Pelosivich! The more you do the more you make President Combover look like a populist genius!

Oo! Oo! I got it! "The rich are getting richer, and the poor are getting poorer." I think it's catchy.

Komrades Schumerkov and Peloski have brilliantly paved the rhetorical road to Next Tuesday. In essence, Schumerkov describes Team D as having to change their message from a perceived negative one spouting bigger government control (boo) to a more moderate message of a more generous government (yay).

This better more generous government would create more and better jobs, provide more and better money for those better jobs and even better train more better people for all those new better jobs and all without costing anyone a thing. Who wouldn't want that? It's freakin' better!

These old school Conservatives have no understanding of our living, breathing (and soon to be better) Constitution. It specifically says "We the People" and we all know that the People are government people like Schumerkov and Peloski. Our unalienable rights flow through them because they're...well.....better.

Despite all the fur I am blushing, but I could be BetterTM. If I vote democrat I would become BetterTM at Photoshop by taking a free course. Thus would I be able to make BetterTM posts, hence making The Cube Kollective BetterTM.

It's a BetterTM way ForwardTM to a more Glorious Next TuesdayTM.

Komrade Kommisar offers a most excellent suggestion. Thank you Komrade al-Blogunov, my need for a Jiffy-Lobo grow increasingly more frequent. I am concerned, but will be BetterTM.
